Annual School Supply Drive

A priority of our League members is education and each of you are encouraged to participate as individuals in the Annual School Supply Drive.

Once again, residents of the Montezuma Cortez School District are invited to participate in the annual school supply drive. The drive helps teachers who have been buying supplies out of their own pockets when many families cannot afford to supply what is needed. If you would like to contribute, you can drop off supplies at Citizens State Bank in Cortez from August 1−15. Can you help sort the supplies at the Bank on the morning of August 19? If so, please contact Judy Schuenemeyer at judyswsc&@;q.com or 565−7837. The most needed items are:

  • Expo low odor dry erase markers and erasers for white boards;
  • #2 pencils, small pencil sharpeners, pencil top erasers, other erasers ;
  • copy/printer paper (used for work sheets, art work, tests, instructions, notices, etc);
